Welcome to Monrosa's group kayaking lessons! Our groups are always small: two, three, or a maximum of five participants. You can share the experience with friends who are at your same skill level and enjoy personalized, gradual, and effective instruction. Each group lesson is designed to suit the participants' diverse needs , and the instructor provides specific advice and instruction to each participant, ensuring everyone is rewarded and improves their skills. Safety is always our top priority . We provide the best equipment, and during our courses, technical exercises are always combined with explanations aimed at improving river safety and lifesaving activities. Group lessons foster a climate of solidarity and encourage mutual support, essential for learning to safely kayak. Whether you're a beginner or looking to hone your skills, group kayaking lessons are a great way to progress in the sport, allowing you to interact with others and find companions for your river adventures. Yes, rain doesn't prevent you from enjoying the experience on the water and can make the activity even more fun and unique. The trip is cancelled or modified only when weather or river conditions make it unsafe. The Monrosa Rafting center will then contact you to arrange any changes to dates, times, or refunds.
No, no previous experience is necessary; in fact, the activities are designed for even first-time river rafters. Before departure, you'll attend a briefing where the guides will provide you with all the necessary instructions for a safe descent.
Rock shoes aren't the best choice for river walking because their soles are too flexible and don't provide adequate foot protection. Closed shoes with rigid soles, such as sneakers, are better.
For safety reasons, bringing personal items during the activity is prohibited, and electronic devices may get wet or lost. We offer professional photography services or waterproof action camera rentals. Photos will be available for purchase at the end of the activity.
Yes, you'll get completely wet during the activities. Therefore, it's important to bring a complete change of clothes and everything you need to dry off after the experience.
The appointment is at our center at the agreed-upon time. It's not necessary to arrive early, but we ask that you arrive on time. If you'd like to arrive earlier, you're always welcome. We're located in a beautiful, large green area on the banks of the Sesia River, and we have a café waiting to help you while you wait.

No, the first kayaking lesson almost never takes place along an entire stretch of river. Depending on your skill level, the guide will decide which stretch to take you on and which exercises to do. You can start from the small lake and work your way up to much more difficult sections.
