Welcome to Monrosa's group kayaking lessons! Our groups are always small: two, three, or a maximum of five participants. You can share the experience with friends who are at your same skill level and enjoy personalized, gradual, and effective instruction. Each group lesson is designed to suit the participants' diverse needs , and the instructor provides specific advice and instruction to each participant, ensuring everyone is rewarded and improves their skills. Safety is always our top priority . We provide the best equipment, and during our courses, technical exercises are always combined with explanations aimed at improving river safety and lifesaving activities. Group lessons foster a climate of solidarity and encourage mutual support, essential for learning to safely kayak. Whether you're a beginner or looking to hone your skills, group kayaking lessons are a great way to progress in the sport, allowing you to interact with others and find companions for your river adventures. Yes, activities take place even in rain. Rain doesn't prevent you from enjoying the experience on the water and can make the activity even more fun and unique. The activity will be cancelled or modified only if weather or river conditions make it unsafe. The Monrosa Rafting Center will communicate any changes to dates, times, or refunds.
No, no previous experience is necessary. The activities are designed for beginners, and before departure, the guides will provide all the necessary information for safe participation.
Due to their flexible soles, water shoes are not the best choice for river trips. For this reason, we believe closed-toe shoes are very important for participating in activities. They should be comfortable and suitable for getting wet, such as sneakers. If you don't have closed-toe sneakers to use, we have some used shoes available for customers that can be requested before the activity.
It's not recommended to bring personal electronic devices on the raft. We offer professional photography with waterproof action cameras. Photos will be available for purchase at the end of the activity.
Yes, it's normal to get wet during water activities. Therefore, it's important to bring a complete change of clothes and everything you need to change after your experience.
The appointment is at our center at the booked time. It's not necessary to arrive early, but we ask that you arrive on time. If you'd like to arrive early, you're always welcome. We're located in a beautiful, large green space near the Sesia River, with a café waiting to help you while you wait.
Don't worry: we're available to accommodate our clients' needs and, when possible, we can consider date changes or reservation modifications to allow you to participate at a later time. No, the first kayaking lesson almost never takes place along an entire stretch of river. Depending on your skill level, the guide will decide which stretch to take you on and which exercises to do. You can start from the small lake and work your way up to much more difficult sections.
