Bicin Vigna with Antonelli
Description
BicinVigna with Antonelli is a cycling tour which, starting from Villa Caccia in Romagnano Sesia, winds its way through the Novara hills, crossing the Parco del Monte Fenera and the Boca hills, to discover the architecture of Alessandro Antonelli. The charm of a hilly area emerges among woods and vineyards, with the Alpine arc in the background in which Monte Rosa stands out. The cycle touring route aims to introduce the territory of the Colline Novaresi and its food and wine excellences to cyclists and non-cyclists alike, lovers of life in the open air, the possibility of moving on medium-difficulty routes and to broaden their naturalistic knowledge.
Path
Departure from Villa Caccia of Romagnano Sesia - Sanctuary of Boca - Church of Maggiora. The park of Villa Caccia extends over an area of over two hectares around the building designed by the architect Alessandro Antonelli. There are numerous works from the period of maturity: manor houses, the headquarters of the municipality of Mortara and the sanctuary of Boca whose dome was never finished due to the risk of collapse, where we will stop to admire its beauty. The Pink Itinerary extends over the territory of the municipalities of Romagnano Sesia, Cavallirio, Boca, Maggiora. It can be traveled on optimally with an E-bike; the difference in colors in the various seasons make it always new; the characteristic glimpses and the panorama range from the plain to the Monte Rosa mountain range.
