Rafting in the Sesia Gorges: the most pristine stretch of the Sesia, nestled in the area of the Valsesia Supervolcano (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), with crystal-clear pools and spectacular rock faces. Yes, rain doesn't prevent you from enjoying the experience on the water and can make the activity even more fun and unique. The trip will be cancelled or modified only when weather or river conditions make it unsafe. The Monrosarafting center will then contact you to arrange any changes to dates, times, or refunds.

No, no previous experience is necessary; in fact, the activities are designed for even first-time river rafters. Before departure, you'll attend a briefing where the guides will provide you with all the necessary instructions for a safe descent.

Due to their flexible soles, water shoes are not the best choice for river trips. For this reason, we believe closed-toe shoes are very important for participating in activities. They should be comfortable and suitable for getting wet, such as sneakers. If you don't have closed-toe sneakers to use, we have some used shoes available for customers that can be requested before the activity.

It's not recommended to bring personal electronic devices on the raft. We offer professional photography with waterproof action cameras. Photos will be available for purchase at the end of the activity.

Yes, you'll get completely wet during the activities. Therefore, it's important to bring a complete change of clothes and everything you need to dry off after the experience.

The appointment is at our center at the agreed-upon time. It's not necessary to arrive early, but we ask that you arrive on time. If you'd like to arrive earlier, you're always welcome. We're located in a beautiful, large green area on the banks of the Sesia River, and we have a café waiting to help you while you wait.
